No, accommodation and meals are not included.

Do I get any discount?

Unfortunately, no. Our prices are all fixed as our course prices are the cheapest in the Molchanovs Freediving. We guarantee that what you learn will exceed your expectations, and we value our instructors' and team's efforts. :)

I have a scuba diving license and want to try freediving. Which course should I take?

If you're comfortable in open water, you may consider going straight for our Molchanovs Wave 1 course.

Why are we more expensive than scuba diving?

Our freediving courses are more expensive than a scuba diving course because of the small group classes and the personal instruction you get from your instructor. Our classes typically have between 2 to 3 freedivers gives you the benefit of diving with a group of like-minded freedivers, gaining a good vibe and energy from the power of a group class, while also allowing our instructor to give instruction when appropriate. It is group personal training at a fraction of the cost. Besides, it is a life skill that you will learn and stick with you forever.

Furthermore, you will also be part of a fantastic community!

Why choose us over a regular freediving organization/school?

What sets us apart from other schools is our focus on the whole learning experience rather than just reaching goals. In freediving, it's not just about diving into water; it's about discovering ourselves through the dive and reflecting on our thoughts. Our instructors specialize in mindfulness, helping you improve your freediving skills and apply them to your everyday life.

When / What time should I arrive?

Our first day of the course starts at 9 am, and you should arrive one day before the course

What if I did not pass?

First of all, we focus on the term DID NOT COMPLETE instead of did not pass, it is a wrong mindset in a freediving course. Students who did not complete the course are allowed to come back and join the coaching sessions. Coaching sessions are RM250 per session, mainly focusing on the techniques and helping students to achieve their target mindfully.

May I learn freediving if I don't know how to swim?

Yes, but students might feel not as comfortable as they should be. To ensure our students can dive comfortably, we strongly suggest our students sign up for survival swimming lessons with us before signing up for our freediving course. Please enquire for more info regarding this.

How long should I hold my breath?

In Wave 1, students require to achieve a record of 1'30 static. With the guidance of our experienced instructor, no students had ever failed in this task before but surprised themselves instead.

Will I get a certificate?

Yes, students will receive a certificate if they pass the course requirement. Indeed, it is proof of achievement unlocked. However, we want our students to focus & enjoy the process of learning the techniques instead of passing the course.

Is it difficult to learn?

No, it's not. Freediving is like any other sport requiring much practice and training. Our instructor will guide students through every step of the learning journey throughout the course. And with practice, students will see their improvement.

How many students are there in a class?

Our instructor uses the Molchanovs teaching system; therefore, the instructor only teaches in a small group of classes. There is a maximum of 6 students for pool sessions and a maximum of 4 students for open water with a diving buoy. Still, for AndRasa, we have three students on a diving buoy to maximize your learning time.

What is Molchanovs?

Molchanovs is a total freediving agency founded by the legend of freediving – Natalia Molchanova, and her son – Alexey Molchanovs, with many other great athletes like Adam Stern, Dean Chaouche, William Trubridge, etc. Molchanovs aims to keep more and more people in the community, focus on mental techniques, share knowledge, and dive properly.
